Your life,
a little at a time.

Zeitgeist is journaling that feels like posting. A thought on the train, a good lunch, something someone said that made you laugh. Write a little whenever something comes to mind, rather than saving it all for the end of the day. A sentence is fine. So is a photo. Leave it at that, or write more when you feel like it. It’s just a place to keep the things you’d like to remember.

The people
in your life.

Coffee with Anna, a weekend with your brother, dinner that went on for hours. @mention someone in a post and they get their own profile, with all the entries you’ve mentioned them in.

Next time you’re wondering when you last saw someone, or what that place was where you had lunch, it’s all there. Open their profile and look back through the things you’ve done together, without searching through your whole journal.

Keep track of
how you feel.

Pick a smiley to go with your post. Or just add a mood if you don’t feel like writing. The calendar gives you a picture of how you’ve been feeling, with a bit of color for morning, midday, and evening. A day can start one way and end another, and it’s nice to be able to see that when you look back.

More of
the little things.

A walk, a lazy Sunday, finally getting back to that project. Add a tag for whatever you want to keep track of. Tap it later to see those posts together, along with a calendar of when they happened. It’s an easy way to see what you’ve been making time for, whether that’s getting outside, being creative, or doing absolutely nothing.

Your day, with
a little more context.

Sometimes a photo or a place brings back more than a page of writing. Zeitgeist can put your photos, plans, activity, and places next to the things you’ve written. You don’t have to add all of that by hand: choose what you’d like to include and the app picks up those details from your device. Your posts, moods, and tags are still yours to add.

Zeitgeist’s day overview, combining a map, photos, sleep, steps, calendar events, workouts, and journal entries from a sample day in Berlin.

A whole day.
One continuous story.

That coffee in the morning. The walk after lunch. The photo you forgot you took. Open a day and see it all in the order it happened, with your posts in between. Photos, calendar events, places, sleep, and workouts can all be part of the same timeline.

You don’t have to write down every little thing. Add the bits you want to say, and let the rest help you remember what the day was like. You can choose which sources to turn on, so there’s only as much detail as you want.
